Before becoming an RMT, Sabrina worked as a fitness trainer, dance instructor, and group fitness leader. She took additional training to provide condition-specific exercise including programming for people with Parkinson's disease. This diverse background continues to shape her functional and movement-based approach to care.
Her personal experiences with injury and trauma deepened her understanding of the mind-body connection and its role in chronic pain, recovery, and overall well-being. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in therapy, where she could combine her passion for movement, health, and helping others.
Sabrina's practice focuses on relieving pain, restoring movement, improving function and supporting the nervous system through an integrative approach that combines massage therapy and contemporary medical acupuncture.
When appropriate, she may also incorporate cupping therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and therapeutic ultrasound to further support healing and recovery.
She believes that education is an important part of the healing process and works closely with patients to develop individualized strategies that may include movement, exercise, stretching, and stress management techniques to support long-term health and resilience.
In addition to her clinical work, Sabrina is passionate about education and mentorship. She serves as an Educator of Massage Therapy at Trillium College and actively supports continuing education initiatives within the contemporary medical acupuncture community.
Committed to lifelong learning, Sabrina regularly attends evidence-based seminars and pursues ongoing professional development to ensure her patients receive informed, up-to-date care.
Beyond her professional life, Sabrina cherishes time spent with her family and her special needs dog, Benny. Passionate about health and wellness both personally and professionally, she enjoys Pilates, weightlifting, and Muay Thai, as well as incorporating sauna and cold plunge therapy into her own self-care routine.
