Massage

Registered Massage Therapy

Massage therapy offers numerous physical and mental health benefits, making it an essential  part of routine self-care. Regular massage can help alleviate chronic pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve circulation, promoting faster recovery from injury or strain. It also reduces stress and may improve sleep quality. For those dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma, massage therapy can provide a calming experience, helping to restore balance and emotional well-being.

At Mind Body Wellness & Massage Therapy, we strive to create a safe, trauma-informed environment where every individual can experience the therapeutic benefits of massage tailored to their unique needs.

Other modalities such as acupuncture, cupping, ultrasound, IASTM and  Kinesio tape (KT Tape) can be added to your treatment for your optimal benefit based on the initial consultation and discussion of your individual needs and goals.

Acupuncture Close Up

Acupuncture

At Mind Body Wellness & Massage Therapy, we offer both Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)-based acupuncture, providing a truly integrative approach to healing.

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is a modern adaptation of the traditional practice, grounded in Western medical science. It involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the central nervous system and promote natural healing responses. Treatments may also include gentle electrical stimulation to enhance therapeutic effects.

TCM-based acupuncture, offered through Naturopathic Medicine, draws on centuries of traditional knowledge to restore balance in the body’s energy systems (Qi) and support organ function. This approach considers the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit, addressing not only physical symptoms but also the underlying energetic and systemic imbalances that contribute to them.

Together, these two complementary methods support whole-body wellness — improving circulation, reducing inflammation, relieving chronic pain, and restoring physiological and energetic balance.

Acupuncture may be incorporated as part of a massage or naturopathic appointment to enhance results and support the body’s natural ability to heal.

Shoulder Treatment

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a client-centred discipline that is based on understanding the relationship between structure and function in order to enhance the body’s inherent ability to heal. It relies on skilled manual therapeutic techniques to assess and treat the client, guiding the natural self-healing properties of the human body.

Osteopathy is a gentle form of hands on therapy that is guided by 3 principles:

  • The body is a dynamic unit of function

  • The body is self-healing

  • Structure and function are interrelated

Osteopathic Manual Practitioners recognize a person as an integrated whole. When all of the body’s components are in balance, a person is complete and in total health.

Using various manual assessment techniques and modalities, they work to identify and ease restrictions, constrictions, and pain; reduce swelling; improve tissue and mobility, which helps to improve and restore the normal physiological function of interrelated body structures and systems, promoting proper function and enhancing the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Naturopathic Medicine Shelf

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is a holistic and personalized approach to health care that focuses on the whole person, considering your physical, mental, and emotional well-being, and also focusing on the root causes of illness, rather than just addressing symptoms.

At Mind Body Wellness & Massage Therapy, we recognize that the body’s ability to heal depends on the health of every interconnected system — including metabolic, hormonal, and inflammatory balance. Naturopathic medicine plays a key role in whole-body wellness by addressing the internal factors that influence pain, tissue repair, and overall function.

Chronic stress, inflammation, nutritional deficiencies, and gut imbalances can all contribute to physical tension, slower recovery, and persistent discomfort.

oundation for lasting wellness

Whether you're dealing with chronic conditions, stress, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, or simply looking to optimize your health, our naturopathic doctor will work with you to develop a tailored treatment plan that addresses your unique needs.

By combining treatments such as nutritional counselling, herbal medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, and lifestyle guidance, naturopathy aims to restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit.

By integrating naturopathic care with manual therapies and psychotherapy, we support healing on both the cellular and systemic levels — helping the body function optimally from the inside out.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy

At Mind Body Wellness & Massage Therapy, we understand that true healing involves more than just the body — it includes the mind and the nervous system too.

Psychotherapy plays a vital role in whole-body health by helping individuals process emotional stress, regulate their nervous system, and address the psychological patterns that can influence physical tension, pain, and overall well-being.

Many chronic conditions and physical symptoms are influenced by prolonged stress, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. By integrating psychotherapy with manual therapies and naturopathic care, we support the body’s natural ability to heal from the inside out.

Using a trauma-informed and somatic approach, our Psychotherapist integrates EMDR and other evidence-based techniques to help clients regulate their nervous system, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with themselves.

This integration supports not just emotional recovery, but also the restoration of physical balance and long-term well-being — aligning mind, body, and nervous system for true, lasting health.
